Shipping
What are your shipping options?
UK ORDERS:
UK delivery is FREE!
I ship within the UK using tracked delivery methods such as 'Royal Mail 48 Tracked' or similar. Sometimes I may select a different shipping provider to ensure the best possible service.
UK orders with a value over £150 will arrive by Royal Mail Special Delivery or similar at no extra cost.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
I ship internationally using Royal Mail's International Tracked service or other similar tracked services.
International shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
When will my order arrive?
I ship orders twice a week, and once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking code for your peace of mind and convenience.
After dispatch, orders shipped by Royal Mail 48 hour Tracked usually arrive in 2-3 business days. Orders arriving by Royal Mail Special Delivery usually arrive on the next business day.
International orders usually arrive between 7 and 14 business days after dispatch.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! I ship world-wide - international shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
Will I need to pay customs fees for my international order?
It’s always possible with international orders, no matter where you’re shopping online, that there will be extra charges, fees or taxes to pay when the package arrives in your country. Unfortunately, this is out of my control, and I advise you to check with your government or official customs website for the most up-to-date and relevant information.
How will my order be packaged?
Orders are shipped in a letterbox-friendly postal box. For shipping methods that do not require a signature, your parcel will usually be posted through your letterbox.
All jewellery pieces arrive in a branded luxury velvet pouch with a jewellery care instruction card.
Returns
Do you offer returns?
Stone and Spectra offers a 14 day returns policy.
Please contact me by email to start your request and let me know your order number and which items you would like to return. I will then email you with a return instructions and address. Email hello@stoneandspectra.com to get started.
Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable, and Stone and Spectra do not cover return postage. Goods are the customer's responsibility until they arrive back. It’s strongly recommended to use a tracked and insured shipping method to return your items.

What is the difference between Sterling 925 Silver and Silver-Filled?
STERLING SILVER:
Sterling Silver, or '925 Silver', is a precious metal alloy made of Silver and other materials. Its purity is 92.5% Silver. It's commonly used for jewellery. You will find that all Stone and Spectra clasps, charms and beads are Sterling Silver unless stated otherwise in the product description.
SILVER-FILLED:
The Silver-Filled wire used in Stone and Spectra jewellery is a precious metal allow made of 99% Fine Silver (Silver with a higher purity than Sterling Silver) which has been bonded over a Copper core. The layer of Fine Silver is far thicker than you would find in a Silver Plated metal, and the Copper core is there for strength and flexibility so that intricate wrapped designs can be created and held in place.
Generally speaking, Sterling Silver and Silver-Filled are higher in quality and durability than Silver Plated, and are chosen for Stone and Spectra pieces so that your jewellery looks good, feels amazing to wear and lasts a long time.
